One of the unexpected joys of a missionary furlough is having the opportunity to witness the beginning of another missionary’s first steps into a new world. Recently, Casey had the privilege of sharing the ministry with another partner church in Indiana. At the same gathering of the team that organizes the Greencastle Christian Church missions effort, Adam and Jennifer Hayes made their final update before leaving on a survey trip to South Africa. They are leaving in early October. Both Adam and Jennifer served on work groups from GCC in Mexico during the Hancock’s first term. Casey and Teri consider it a great privilege to pray for the Hayes Family and to be a small part of encouraging their adventure in Missions.
Read more about the Hayes family experience on their blog http://thatsthecryofmyheart.blogspot.com/
Upcoming dates for the Hancock’s:
October 8 Missions Team meeting at Whitewater Crossing Christian Church - Cleves, Ohio
October 14 Mission Presentation, Missions Team Meeting at Second Church of Christ - Danville, Illinois
October 21 Mission Presentation with First Chrisitan Church Maryville, Tennessee
Please pray for the Hancock’s stay in the U.S. during this furlough, for additional partner churches to join, and for brothers and sisters in Christ in Mexico.
Thank you for your prayers, gifts, and interest in our ministry. – Casey and Teri Hancock
